Skillets Café & Grill – a Hilton Head original

You won’t find a Skillets in Everytown, USA. Skillets Café & Grill is a locally owned “Mom and Pop” restaurant that has been a favorite with Hilton Head residents and visitors for 30 years.

Amie Bama, Skillet’s owner, grew up on Hilton Head but left to earn a BS degree in Food Science from Winthrop University and a culinary degree from Johnson & Wales. Then, the Island’s beauty and bounty called her back home.

The restaurant has been a family affair from the beginning, with family members, as well as the Island community, contributing to its 30 years of success. Today, Amie’s father, John Baima, keeps the books, and her son, Evan, heads up the kitchen, and many of the staff have been with her for years. Amie, her family, and staff pride themselves on serving freshly made, home-style meals at affordable prices. They look forward to serving you soon.
