Let Skillets Café & Grill do the cooking…

Craving some home-style, Lowcountry cooking? Head to Skillets Café & Grill, where you’ll savor freshly prepared comfort food, seafood, and southern specialties in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Start your day with breakfast choices for every taste, from our signature Skillet dishes, stuffed French toast, pancakes, and biscuits & gravy to breakfast burritos, Benedicts, and crepes.

At lunch, slide into some southern fare with fried green tomatoes or hush puppies, then grab a sandwich – crabcake, pimento cheese, Monte Cristo, French dip, shrimp BLT, just to name a few – or go for tacos, salads, or soup.

Dinnertime offers fresh shrimp as well as flounder, crab, salmon, oysters, scallops, Jambalaya, shrimp and grits, and fried or broiled seafood platters. Skillets will please the meat-eaters, too, with BBQ ribs, pork chops, steaks, chicken, and meatloaf, all served up with scrumptious sides.

How about capping it off with Bourbon Pecan or Key Lime Pie, some cobbler, or other delish desserts?

We also offer an extensive array of gluten-free options, including a designated fryer. We have GF menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, too.

The whole family can relax in Skillet’s casual atmosphere, with a full bar, indoor/outdoor dining, pet-friendly porches including a doggy menu, and an extensive kids’ menu. Takeout and delivery are also available so that you can have home cooking at home without, well, the cooking.

Had a crab and guacamole omelette (wasn’t sure about it) and have to say it was OUTSTANDING. THE COFFEE WAS TERRIFIC AND ATMOSPHERE WAS PLEASANT AND COMFORTABLE.

I’ve been going to HHI for decades. Every trip I go to Skillets at least once. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is tremendous!! And the pricing for dinner is a whole lot less for the same you will get anywhere else on the island.

Trip Advisor Review

We absolutely love Skillets. We eat the majority of our meals here and couldn’t be more pleased with the atmosphere, the staff or the food! We are so grateful for the wonderful gluten free and vegan options, as well. The dog friendly porch and menu are another added delight. Thank you for your continued commitment to excellence!!
